Experience the ultimate adventure with our one-day trip from Toronto to 1000 Island.

With more than 1,800 islands, each with its own distinct charm and history, the Thousand Islands are an archipelago that spans the Saint Lawrence River and the border between Canada and the United States. Heart Island, one of the most well-known islands, is the location of the magnificent Boldt Castle, erected by millionaire George C. Boldt for his adored wife Louise. When Louise passed away unexpectedly in 1904, the castle's construction was abruptly stopped, and it remained unfinished for decades. Today, Boldt Castle is a popular tourist attraction, meticulously restored and open to the public. Many opulent summer homes were built on the islands because they were a popular getaway for the wealthy in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

This trip includes a boat cruise around the island and admission to Boldt Castle and boldt Yacht House.

Lunch and Dinner are not included.

Schedule (Time Estimated):

1 Pickup at York Mills station

The bus will be waiting here at 7:30 AM. It will leave at 7:50 AM.

2 Pickup at Scarborough Town Center

The bus will arrive at 8:10 AM and will leave at 8:25 AM.

3 Pickup at Oshawa Go Station

The bus will arrive at 9:00 AM and will leave at 9:20 AM.

The bus will arrive at 11:30 AM for Lunch and/or Break and will leave at 1:00 PM

5 20 Front Street, Rockport, ON K0E 1V0

Arriving at 1:35 PM. Our journey begins at 2:00 PM and concludes at 6:00 PM. Enjoy 1.5 hours exploring the scenic 1000 Islands by boat, followed by a 2.5-hour visit to the magnificent Boldt Castle and Yacht House. Bus will leave at 6:30 PM

Arriving at 7:50 PM. Here you have a 1 hour stop for dinner at IHOP. We will leave at 8:50 PM.

You Must Know:

Valid Passports or NEXUS cards are required for this tour as Boldt Castle is in the U.S.
Permanent Resident cards are not accepted documents for entry to the U.S.

The following is taken from Rockport's policy notice.

"Rockport Boat Line has sandwiches, snacks and alcoholic/non alcoholic beverages available onboard for sale. We do not permit outside food and beverages (alcoholic/non-alcoholic) on our vessels, personal water bottles are fine. If you are taking the Boldt Castle tour, you can take a small packed lunch to enjoy on the Island. No large coolers, please. Only small soft sided coolers. We ask that you do not consume your lunch on the vessel."
